Monthly Wednesday Night Chess Tournament

Description: This is a 5 round, month-long rated event. One game will be played every Wednesday evening starting at 6:45pm (On the first round of each month please arrive by 6:15pm).

Time controls:
• All Rounds G/90;d5

Entry fee: $20 for non-members, $10 for Pawn Members, Free for Knight, King, and Adult members

Sections and Prizes:
Grand Prix points designed only for this tournament will be earned each month starting in November 2021 through October 2022. (Requested or scheduled byes are not included in Grand Prix points; forfeit wins do count.)

Cash prize for 1st and 2nd open and 1st and 2nd winners in lower section. Prizes awarded for the most points earned for the year from Wednesday night games to the top 4 players and a prize to the top 2 players with the most USCF rating increase during the Grand Prix time period.

Additional Prizes: Each month the player with the highest margin of victory will win $10 (cannot be a provisional or unrated player).
