DESCRIPTION:This is a USCF rated swiss chess tournament open to all chess players. There will be 9 rounds in total. The tournament will be a one day event with no byes.\nLIMIT 50 PEOPLE FOR THIS EVENT.\nRound times:\n• Registration at 12pm – 12:45pm if not done online.\n• Rounds start at 1:00pm and are held asap with top 4 boards dgt recorded.\nTime controls:\n3 min + 2 inc\nEntry fee: $40 if received before August 8th, $50 if received before August 22nd, and $60 until the day of the event.  $70 for on-site registration and may have to take 1st round bye.\nSections and Prizes:\n*50% guaranteed in prizes based on 30 entries. 50% guaranteed payout.\nOne prize per person\nMUST BE A SAN ANTONIO RESIDENT TO WIN THE TROPHY\n\nTwo section with class prizes.\n(Championship) *U1600 players must pay an extra $50 to compete in this section*\n• $200-100\n(Reserve)\n• Top Class C(1400-1599): $100\n• Top Class D(1200-1399): $100\n• Top Class E/Unrated (1000-1199): $100\nFor more information, click here ( https://completechesseducation.com/event/san-antonio-blitz-championship-2022/ ).\nTo register, click here.
